It is an modern and easy to use tool to edit SAP Logon ini files. It supports local/network and web based ini files. An internal FTP client to upload ini files to web server is included. The editor allows to edit, delete, copy, paste and sort SAP systems in a modern user interface. It also possible to set user defined icons for SAP systems, or to temporary disable systems. A disabled system will show a system message to the user in UltraLogon client. Ini files edited with UltraLogon Editor are fully compatible with standard SAP Logon, however a few functions such as custom icons, descriptive lines and disabled systems / system messages are only supported in UltraLogon client. UltraLogon Client: Added support for custom icons. UltraLogon Editor is required to make use of this feature (included in version 3.00). Support for disabled systems. A disabled system will popup a system message window. Automatic download of ini file added. This feature does automatically refresh ini file in a predefined period. To enable automatic downnload, click 'Options' and select the 'General' tab, then click 'Automatically update ini file'. Automatic update of ini file does only work for web based ini file setup (automatic configuration file or web server ini file). Automatic configuration file has been renamed to 'ultralogon.cnf'. The old format of 'ultralogon.conf' is no longer supported in version 3.0. Added SAP codepage handling. Cosmetic changes in user interface. To enable descriptive lines, add a dummy SAP system with two '-' chars at the end of the description, i.e. 'EBP Systems--'. That will cause UltraLogon to display a descriptive line in bold text format. Added Transaction browser. It includes full database of nearly all 16'000+ transactions, including reports and descriptions. Quick help window added. Added quick connect. Quick connect allows you to quickly connect to any SAP system not listed, by only entering hostname and database number. This was added on request. Added SAP favorites. SAP favorites allows you to drag and drop any SAP system into the favorites window. You can further customize the favorite by adding username and/or password, startup transactions, reports and system commands. Added custom ini file mode. This is especially useful for SAP consultants or users working for several companies. Custom ini mode allows you to add any ini files using different locations. Better BW support: added realtime BW ini file. When starting BW Business Explorer, the currently loaded inifile of UltraLogon will be displayed in system selection. Various bug fixes. 06/10/06 JobMaster Version 3.70 Build 672 New Features: The converted layout can differ when converting PowerPoint or Excel file that contains chart data. A newly added option in menu Extras, Options 'refresh chart objects' solves this issue. Executing files can now be done in 2 different modes: Asynchronous (default) and the newly added synchronous mode. Executing files in synchronous mode is especially helpful for batch files, JobMaster waits for the completion of the bat file. Bug Fixes: Processed files downloaded by HTTP were not always re-downloaded due to the cache of Internet Explorer. JobMaster clears the cache now before downloading. Fixed a bug in edit job gui. Deleting files with specific file extension set did not work correctly. Fixed. This option allows to only process files that are older or newer than <n> days. JobMaster does also take 'last modified files', 'last accessed files' and 'created files' into account. Added full support for Adobe Acrobat 7.0 standard and professional version. In some conversions unhandled dialog windows may appear, mostly when a file is converted directly from internet, a 'enter network password' dialog may appear. JobMasters dialog handler will trap these dialogs. This option is only recommended for unattended operation. To enable dialog handler, click menu 'Extras', 'Options', then select the 'conversion' tab. Slight changes in the options user interface. Improved internet conversion. JobMaster can now also handle php, asp or server based webpages as internet resource. To convert php or asp webpages, add a conversion rule with 'Web Page (.htm; .html)' as source format. ANY2ANY allows nearly anything to anything converted, in fact it is able to manage over 650 different file conversions. The old conversion interface has been completely replaced, however old configuration data will be updated when installing release 3.00. In the new interface, each conversion is defined as 'conversion rule', JobMaster can handle up to 40 different conversion rules per job. Extended conversion codes for command line options. There is also a progressbar in the startup screen indicating the startup progress. Full support for Acrobat6. Note that PDFWriter is no longer included in Acrobat6, therefore JobMaster will use the postscript / distiller method for converting files to pdf-format. Support for multiple file extensions instead of only one filetype. You can enter up to 64 file extensions in the source tab under 'specific filetype(s)'. Note that they must be separated with spaces, for example: 'doc xls exe com'. We've added XP window styles support for those running JobMaster under Windows XP. Added support for Microsoft's new operating system 'Windows 2003 Server'. Enhanced environment logging for better debugging purposes. Bug Fixes: Fixed a bug that occured when converting files to pdf-format with acrobat 4.x. Another bug fixed that occured on Windows NT4 systems when using the distiller conversion method. Other: Added a new installation program. There is no need anymore to deinstall JobMaster before installing the new version. The new setup wizard automatically detects any previous installed versions and can upgrade them. Moreover the setup wizard is multilingual, allows you to install JobMaster in english or german. This makes the use of two different setup packages obsolete. There was a cracking attempt on JobMaster a few weeks ago, so we decided to change the licensing key system a bit. The new key-system is far more secure. Registered users prior version 1.8 must re-register JobMaster. We'll send a new license key to all users that have already registered JobMaster. 08/07/2003 JobMaster Version 1.7 Build 358 There is a new build of JobMaster 1.7. We have discovered a little bug in the user interface, the ftp account could not be correctly saved in the registry. 07/01/2003 JobMaster Version 1.7 Build 356 New Features: Added support for Acrobat Distiller. You can use eigher Acrobat PDFWriter or Acrobat Distiller to convert files to PDF. For a fast and simple pdf conversion for business documents it is recommended to use PDFWriter. However if you want more options generating PDF files such as extended security settings, use Acrobat Distiller. There is also a new option screen for Acrobat Distiller, allowing you to set various security settings. Optimized registry access. Logfile indication when JobMaster was not properly shutdown. Further optimized PowerPoint conversion. The conversion process runs now completely in the background. Bug Fixes (nur in englisch): Fixed a minor bug. Window position was not always restored. 05/24/2003 JobMaster Version 1.5 Build 323 Bug fixes: Fixed a bug when converting colored powerpoint files to pdf format. The file was converted to greyscale, losing color information. This behaviour is fixed now. There was a problem with 'minimize window at startup' option. This has been fixed. 05/05/2003 JobMaster Version 1.5 Build 320 We've added a new configuration screen for Acrobat PDFWriter. You can set the following new options in menu Extras/Options/Conversion/PDF Conversion: - Embed all Fonts in PDF file - Downsample images - Used resolution for images. (Screen, 150/300/600 dpi) - Use ASCII text format - Compress monochrome images - Compress text and graphics - Compress color and greyscale images - Used compression method (JPEG high, JPEG medium-high, JPEG medium, JPEG medium-low, JPEG LOW, ZIP) Added a new action called 'Delete'. This action can delete either a single file or a directory. When the recursive option is set, all files and subfolders in the directory will be deleted. If 'a specific filetype' is set, then matching files will be deleted. This action was added on request. Added an option to show the progress when JobMaster is copying files. Disabling this option drastically improves processing speed, especially if you copy/move a few thousand files. Enhanced watchdog by adding the so called force mode. This option closes any running instance of the appropriate office application before the conversion process begins. When the main console is visible, JobMaster will now also appear in the taskbar. JobMaster does now check for the available diskspace on the destination drive before the operation begins. It also supports per-user disk space quotas on WinNT/2000/XP. Enhanced xls Conversion. Sheets that have links to other documents caused problems when converting unattended. Bug fixes: Another bug concerning file conversion has been fixed. Under some error cases JobMaster stated 'successfully converted', even if the conversion was unsuccessful. Fixed a bug with the detection of PDFWriter printer. Fixed another minor bug in the user interface.
